It is a requirement that the submitted manuscript is not under consideration or review by any other journal during its submission to the journal. Additionally, the manuscript must not have been previously published in any journal or other form of publication, except where it has been deposited in preprint repositories, when applicable.

Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring that all materials submitted as part of the manuscript do not violate copyright laws.

All manuscripts submitted to Gharyan University Journal of Engineering Science (GUJES) ) are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process, based on the following principles:

·      The manuscript will be reviewed by two qualified experts in the relevant subject area.

·      All reviewers’ reports will be taken into account when making the decision to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.

·      The Editor-in-Chief will make the final decision based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.

·      The Editor-in-Chief may consult one or more members of the advisory board for additional input before making the final decision.

·      Associate Editors and Review Editors provide administrative support to ensure the transparency and integrity of the peer-review process.

If the authors formally challenge a negative decision and present valid justifications, the manuscript may be forwarded to an additional reviewer. The final decision will then be based on that reviewer’s recommendation

Gharyan University Journal of Engineering Science (GUJES) is an open-access journal. Therefore, no fees are charged to authors, readers, or institutions for downloading any publication from the journal’s website.
